WELCOME

I just wanted to say welcome to all those folks coming here via Leroy's Blog...

I hope that you can travel alongside me this summer.... it's always nice to have friends accompany you on the journey..

Pictures of the journey will be up on Flickr, so you can see the journey as well..

I will be traveling alone most of the way...it's some time to reflect, a time of introspection, and a time to think... about things.

So, having a little company will definitely be nice.

Thanks!

Krapuli,

Please travel far and wide for me. It's the closest thing to a vacation I'll get for another year. But as soon as I take the registry next August, I am planning a break myself.

Til then, this will do nicely ;o)

Dear Krupali,

This is my 4th try to write a note to you on our wonderful blog site and I hope this one goes through, I am now trying a different route to try to get to you. You are missed so much on Leroy's Blog, but I know you are well on your way, and perhaps have arrived,
at your destination and are now giving a receiving hugs with your loved ones. Please be sure to give your Father my warmest regards, and congratulations to your entire family for standing by your side and encouraging you in your quest to become a very fine physician.

I am still in search for the gift of a "Krupali", someone with the soul, heart and compassion to listen to my story and help me get the care I need. I see my oncologist Friday to go over the records I picked up from his office the other day, and there are quite a few items on my chart that I am in disbelief that he did not even tell me about. The radiologist has specifically encouraged him to make certain there are some difficulties that get attention, one area shows possible metastases in the area of my ribs, some type of mass on my kidney, the appearance of my right lung in danger of collapse, and the biggest one of all, re-staging and upgrading my cancer status, even though I was never told of the aggressive nature and present stated status.

Oh, Krupali, you are such a special lady and wonderful person and I cannot think of a more perfect profession than the one you chose, or perhaps it chose you, but I am so happy for you and for the patients who are fortunate enough to receive your special kind of care.

Not a day goes by that I do not think of you, with hope, that soon I will find "MY KRUPALI", the questions will end and I will get the care I need and deserve and feel BETTER, so I can GIVE TO MY FELLOW TRAVELERS, instead of TAKING comfort from them, whenever I can.

Big hugs to you, and have a wonderful time. I plan to be tagging along with you, if you do not mind. I also want to thank you, when I read "My Jaw Dropped"
I also cried, tears of joy, and appreciation for you earning every word and thought I posted that day.
I must say, it made me feel pretty special, too, to have made it to THE BIG TIME, with a page on your blog. Thank you, friend, you made my day! week! month! year!

Love, Briana
