My doorbell rang during a nap last Friday, my last official day of being a 'resident physician'..it was a day turning in paperwork, being excised from the university....What a kind, thoughtful, and sweet way of going upon my future journey. I get to finally go home, to where my folks, family, and loved ones are.
I am happy.
